Hi! I'm Sayantan. I am a web developer with knowledge primarily in PHP but with interest in Javascript and other Javascript frameworks like jQuery. I also have working knowledge in HTML5, CSS3 and the Bootstrap framework. I completed B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalm Azad University of Technology (formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology). I had my first introduction to computer programming with the C programming language during my UG course but later I found my way into web programming. I am extremely passionate about web development and other web related technologies. I want the excitement and challange that programming provides me. I'd love to work in a team of passionate developers from whom I can learn everyday. Apart from that I am an avid reader. After a hard day, a quality book is what I look for. And I could probably nuke any country for a plate of Biriyani.
Passed Madhyamik examination on the year 2010 with overall percentage of 82%.
Passed Higher Secondary examination in Science Stream on the year 2012 with overall percentage of 70%.
Completed B.Tech degree on Electrical Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology on the year 2016 with 8.3 CGPA.
This is is a social network application built using laravel framework. In this web app you can create an account, after logging in you can update status, comment on your own or your friends' statuses, you can edit or delete your status or like your friends' statuses and comments. There is option to update your profile info. You can even upload your profile image. The images are resized in three different catagories-large, medium and small, so that the page loding time decreases by decreasing the image size. You can search for other people in the network and add them as a friend. You can also unfriend them.
This project is built with help from tutorials by Codecourse. But some of the features like uploading profile pictures, resizing them, editing or deleting statuses and comments are my own implementation, they are not present in the original tutorial series. I also made some UI changes. You can get the codes here.
This is an authentication system using Slim framework. This provides user registration, validation, logging in with features like email activation and CSRF protection. You can also post updates and comment on posts. As Slim is a micro framework there are several other dependancies that is used in this project like PHPMailer is used to handle the mailing part, Eloquent is used for database operation.
This project too is built with help from tutorials by Codecourse. But the ability to post updates, comment on those post, deleting posts are my implementation. The UI of this project is completely mine as the original tutorial series did not include a single line of CSS. It is done using Bootstrap and CSS. You can get the codes here.
